Ajax was our pick male out of the first Malo x Missde breeding. He has had a very succesful conformation carreer starting in mid 2009. He was a lanky awkward puppy but several experienced judges saw promise in this boy. At just 7 months old he took Best Male Puppy in Show at an NKC Speciality show followed the next day by a Best in Show puppy. At eighteen months old this boy really blossomed! He finished his championship very quickly with some tough competiton and finished his UKC Grand Championship in just 6 shows! He often gets compliments from judges on his stellar outgoing temperament. He is truly a boy that loves the show ring and it shows. He has two UKC Best in Shows, one UKC Reserve Best in Show and two NKC Specialty Best in Shows!
In the ring Ajax has flawless movement with good reach and power in the rear. He has good angulation in the rear and an outstanding topline. He is just around 1/8 undershot with decent sized teeth for a hybrid dog. He is not overly done in anyway but shows what a correct working style American Bulldog should be.
He is very athletic, clean breathing and has excellent movement. He has a lot of prey drive which has stayed consistent since he was very young. Like his 3/4 sister Luna he enjoys the fight from the decoy but he stays clear headed in the work. He has a very quick strikes, especially for a bulldog. He has good drive for obedience but he needs a fair handler.
Ajax loves children and is overtly social with new people. He is a goofy boy in the house that enjoys sleeping under the covers in bed. He is non-dog aggressive and gets along with other intact males, small dogs and he even enjoys playing with our cat!
